Is It Possible To Look Younger Without Having Cosmetic Surgery?

Although none of us have yet to figure out a way to stop the inevitable aging process and most of us have accepted that it’s merely a fact of life, it still doesn’t mean we have to sit idly by while the ravages of time take over. And while it’s certainly true that some women feel resorting to one or more types of plastic surgery or getting regular injections is one way of fighting the aging process, more and more of us are looking for less drastic alternatives.

Simply updating your makeup and application techniques is an incredibly easy way to look younger without surgery. Most of us get into a rut and wear the same colors or type of makeup year after year without realizing our look is in need of a serious update. Styles and trends are constantly changing and it doesn’t mean you have to keep up with all of them but instead, implement a few changes that will update your look without causing you to look too trendy or as if you’re trying to look far younger than your years. Stick to subtle shades and hues while avoiding any makeup with glitter which will inevitably settle into your fine lines and wrinkles causing them to look deeper and more noticeable. And, make it a point to completely remove your makeup each night to give the skin a chance to “breathe” while keeping the pores unclogged and healthy.

While you’re busy updating your makeup you might as well take a serious look at your wardrobe too. Naturally you don’t need to start dressing like a teenager or spend a fortune on an entirely new wardrobe, but your closet should be stocked with a few critical up-to-date pieces that are interchangeable and can be worn with a variety of outfits to keep your look fresh and stylish.

Exercise is one of the most important aspects of looking younger without surgery. In addition to keeping your body toned and your muscles limber and strong, exercise literally helps to renew the cells within the body causing you to start looking and feeling younger from the inside out. Exercise also increases energy considerably allowing you to feel revitalized and ready to face all of life’s challenges. All types of exercise can be beneficial in fighting the aging process such as doing yoga or Pilates but walking, jogging, and weight bearing exercises are ideal for warding off serious diseases like osteoporosis.

Due to the fact our brains are composed primarily of water, taking in water can help fight depression and mood swings. Water helps to get rid of harmful toxins from the body, and as a result, it will help to keep the skin appearing bright and pimple free. It is wise to take in no less than 8 to 10 glasses of water every day, and try to establish a target to drink a minumum of one glass of water just before you enjoy breakfast. By doing this, you’ll be able to begin your day off right, and your system will begin to desire water in the mornings.

Protecting the outside of the body with a good skin care regimen that you adhere to faithfully is one of the smartest things you can do to help you look younger without surgery. Our skin is the largest organ of the body and also the very first thing people see so if it looks unhealthy we’ll look older than our actual years. Use a moisturizer and sunscreen all year round and especially on the face and arms, two places that get the most sun exposure.

Most of us would like to look younger and the perfect place to begin is with a great anti wrinkle cream. My own all-time preferred one is LifeCell cream mainly because it goes to work on lines and wrinkles together with other aging signs right away so that you look younger without delay.
