This article covers 3 easy remedies that will show you how to get rid of pimples overnight. You probably already know that there are a lot of different acne remedies but I have provided three below that are easy to try and use items you can find in your home.

First Remedy: How to Use Salt Water as a Natural Acne Cure | How To Get Rid Of Pimples Overnight:

1. Put warm water into a small bowl and then put in lots of salt in the water.

2. Take a cotton ball and place it into the salt water, after 30 seconds you can remove it.

3. Take the cotton ball and squeeze it. It should be damp but not soaking wet.

4. Put the cotton ball over the pimple you are trying to get rid of. If you have a few in the same area, you can treat more than one if the cotton ball fits over all of them.

5. Continue to hold the cotton ball on the pimple for three minutes.

6. Once three minutes has passed, take the cotton ball off. Most of the pimple should appear to be gone but most of the time it’s only the top part that’s gone and the acne is still there below the skin.

7. Next, take two cotton balls and put one on each side of the pimple you just removed.

8. Slowly move the two cotton balls together until the pimple is flattened.

9. Now, your pimple is gone and you can clean up the area!

10. I recommend applying honey to the area.

Helpful Tip: Make sure you use salt water, regular water will not work. Also, make sure you try it for the whole 3 minutes.

Second Remedy: The Ice Cube Method| How to Get Rid of Pimples Overnight: [I:http://acnetreatmentremedies.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/KaraYoung1.jpg]

Ice is a great acne remedy that is all natural. Using ice can help get rid of your pimples, to use it, you must rub ice on your pimples before going to bed. The ice will create more blood flow to your pimples and this helps to clear up your pores. Ice will also reduce redness so that your pimple will be less obvious and more like your skin tone color.

Third Remedy: The Toothpaste Method| How to Get Rid of Pimples Overnight:

Toothpaste is a great natural remedy for getting rid of acne. If you want to use toothpaste to get rid of your acne, you will need to place a small dab of it on each one of your pimples before going to sleep. Toothpaste will shrink your pimples. Also, it dries out the pimples so this will help them fall off easier. Remember to only use a small amount, a large amount will cause irritation on the skin.

Natural Acne Remedies That Work Quickly

February 8th, 2011

Many people are looking for the latest and greatest acne cure to get rid of their acne from home without any hassle. Unfortunately I have bad news for you today, and good news too so stay tuned! There is no “latest and greatest” acne treatment that actually works. Most if not all acne treatments are just the same ingredients packaged and named in a new way. They contain chemicals and things that cause your skin to break out even further after you stop using them.

Fortunately for you I have suffered from acne for over 5 years and finally cured it and learned a lot about clearing up skin during that difficult time. I created a youtube channel called “AcneErasingSecrets” with over 135 videos now and growing with new videos every single week sharing secrets on how I cleared up my acne and how to get healthy skin again. I have learned so much during those 5 years that I feel it’s my duty to give back and help people get rid of their acne because I now know how to clear skin much better than most people.

Most companies with acne products out there just want to sell you their skin cream or face wash but these things will never cure your acne because they are just temporary topical treatments. These temporary treatments only work at the surface level to reduce acne for a short period of time then the acne come’s back even worse than it was before.

In order to fully and completley cure your acne for good finally you need to clean up your body internally by cleansing as well as externally. Your internal health and cleansing is more important than the external topical treatments that you use because your internal organs determine whether you have acne or not. When your internal organs are stagnant with toxins it’s hard for them to cleanse those out of your body the way they are suppossed too and instead they try to break out of your skin.

My first recommendation for you would be to drink more pure water each day. By pure water I mean purified or spring water and not tap water because tap water is low quality and has been found to contain things that actually cause health to become worse. Spring or purified water is the purest form of water and you will get the most benefit from it. You should be drinking 50% of your body weight in ounces of water each day in order to give your skin enough water to flush toxins and too give it the nutrients it needs to stay healthy and clear.

Acne Secrets From David “The Skin” King Exposed

January 15th, 2011

David “the skin” king is a former acne sufferer who suffered from acne for 5 years and is finally revealing his secrets in the acne erasing secrets program system. The acne erasing secrets system is a holistic program and approach to curing your acne from home naturally without using expensive acne drugs, pills or creams.

There are many acne treatments that are effective and that you can begin to use right away to begin clearing up acne. The first thing that you should begin doing to reduce acne is to drink more water. The majority of people that have acne are dehydrated and need to be getting more water but they continue drinking energy drinks and soda’s which will cause more acne and pimples. You should drink 50% of your body weight in ounces of water each day in order to stay hydrated. I recommend purified or spring water because tap water is filled with pharmaceutical drugs and fluoride and a lot of other toxic things now.

The next thing that you should begin doing is to include organic fruits and vegetables in your diet. Fruits and vegetables give your body nutrition through vitamins and minerals that help collagen production and support the healing of damaged skin cells. These vitamins and minerals also help cleanse and detox toxins that will cause more acne and breakouts. So they help by supporting new and healthy skin cells and also detox the things that cause the acne to stay and grow further.

[youtube:TyDD10xqJeE?fs=1;Go To: [link:Exposed Acne Treatment];http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TyDD10xqJeE?fs=1&feature=related]

The last and final thing that I recommend that you begin doing is to reduce intake of sugar, meat and dairy and other processed foods. These things will increase the production of bacteria and oil which when both of these things interact on your skin they will cause the sustainability and growth of your acne. If you do eat sugar get it from natural sources like fruits instead of soda’s and energy drinks. If you eat meat and dairy make sure that they are high quality and free range and organic produce instead of low quality fast food meats and dairy products. This insures that they are natural and aren’t pumped with hormones which will effect your hormone levels when you eat them. The higher quality and healthier your food is the healthier you and your skin will be and the clearer it will be as well.

Acne Treatment you Must Avoid at All Costs

December 1st, 2010

Although acne affects approximately 20 and 40% of adult population, there exists quite a big void of solid as well as trustworthy advice to aid people deal with this particular skin disorder.

The reason behind this situation could be traced back to the reality of this condition: it is not so physically harmful that it totally requires qualified intervention but simultaneously it still affects one’s self image and can’t be left to chance. Thus, a middle way approach is used – that regarding un-tested, self asserted treatments.

The situation takes a turn for the worse when these “proved to work” solutions inflict damage to the skin. Here are the most widely used acne treatments that definitely don’t produce results:

1. Housecleaning chemicals. Sounds stupid to even consider using them, I know. But there are plenty who have taken this route and ended-up in pain due to sever skin burns.

2. Powders destined to be used for cleaning rough surfaces are also infective in treating acne.

3. Washing-up liquid is meant to be used in kitchen. Even though it may be gentle with your hands by no chance does this mean that it can be applied on already damaged skin as with the case of acne.

4. Facial Saunas. This might be a good solution for keeping your skin glowing and radiant but isn’t a viable solution to dealing with acne. Inflicted tissues don’t tolerate intense heat and excessive humidity.

5. Adhesive Tape. This one might work in removing dead cells and other impurities absorbed in the skin pores but should be avoided in treating acne, largely because of the mechanical damage it brings to the already sensitive skin.

6. Deliberate exposure to the sun. Many have the wrong belief that the sun acts like a natural remedy for acne. Unfortunately that’s one scenario where intense sun light can’t do you any service. Further more if you’re on prescribed drugs that chances that your skin suffers from sun burns are double. This is largely attributed the chemical composition found in antibiotics.

7. Vitamin B a solution to acne problem. This assumption doesn’t have solid grounds to be considerate a reliable alternative to curing acne. Further more, high levels of Vitamin B could lead to serious complication such as heart palpitations, nausea and insomnia.

8.Exerting mechanical pressure by squeezing your spots. This should be avoided at all costs but many fall into the temptation to take the matter in their own hands. But nothing good will come out from teasing the healing process by constantly nagging the sensitive areas.

A number of the acne treatments referred to in this posting may appear quite absurd but in truth, there are plenty which neglect seeking professional help and trust in unskilled tips on acne treatment . Only the basic act of visiting the closest pharmacy can be the winning card in eliminating acne.

Why Do Doctors Prescribe Different Acne Products?

September 14th, 2010

Acne suffering teenagers are a common sight everywhere. Sometimes, dermatologists will suggest different acne products for those who are suffering form pimples and zits. Why do they follow this change? Some people wonder at this difference of the medicines for the same problem. For a proper understanding of this change in treatments, it is vital to know the causes of the acne.

Acne is a skin related problem that is visible in the shape of pimples or zits. Acne Vulgaris, as it is scientifically known, is a usually visible on the face, neck, chest and back. These areas contain a large number of sebaceous or oil producing glands. Usually appearing in two forms, inflammatory and non inflammatory, acne can also appear on the shoulders and upper arms during puberty due to the same reasons.

Almost 95 percent of teenagers suffer from acne. As soon as they reach puberty, acne begins to appear on their face, neck etc. and continues till their late teens or early twenties. Puberty is a time when the human body releases large amounts of hormones. These male sex hormones, androgens, are produced in both males and females. Their release causes the follicular glands to enlarge and form acne. If the acne does not disappear by the twenties and continues into the thirties, as in many women, it may signify another cause like menstrual problems, hormone imbalance etc.

Another reason for acne is blockage in the follicular openings. The human body produces oil, scientifically called sebum, and this oil combined with dead skin cells can block the pores of the skin. At first, this may appear as small blackheads on the skin, later they are infected by the naturally occurring bacteria in the skin and become inflamed. Finally, these may develop into scars or inflamed pimples and zits.

Many families have the problem of acne running in the family and this may be the cause of acne in youngsters from the same family. Additionally, acne is also worsened when the person is going through highly stressful situations. This has been proven by many studies conducted to test this theory and it is safe to say that stress, tension and worrying can actually add to the acne problem.

The bacterium responsible for acne is known as P. Acnes and is naturally found in the pores. These bacteria cause much of the infections in the pores that have been blocked or are unclean due to the oil deposits. Of course, our modern diets have a lot to do with acne and are a major cause of this problem with their high glycemic content. Cow’s milk, too, is believed to cause the breakout of the skin.

So, each of these causes of acne specifies that a different method be used for its treatment. This is because even though these people have the same problem, their causes may not be the same. Acne products that may be suitable for someone whose acne is caused by hormonal surges will obviously not benefit someone who has broken out due to blocked pores.

The Use Of Acne Skin Products

August 31st, 2010

Acne is a common problem that has become the bane of many a teenager’s life. With the ever increasing pressure on young people to look beautiful and have a glowing healthy skin, teenagers who suffer from this problem often begin to suffer from psychological problems as well. However, this is a tale for another day. Acne skin products are gaining popularity among the young and old alike. Because acne is not limited to young people alone, many older people can be seen queuing outside the dermatologist’s office for a consultation. There are many causes for acne and they are different for each individual.

The skin’s structure is an important concept to understand in order to get an idea of the causes of acne. It is a general misconception that pores are only present in the areas that have hair and not present in others. The lips, palms and feet are the only areas that do not have pores whereas the rest of the body has pores everywhere. The surface of the skin contains these pores which have sebaceous glands inside. These glands are connected to the follicles or roots of the hair. The sebaceous glands make oil, sebum, which is used to protect the pores, hair and follicles.

It is necessary that the pores remain clean to ensure that the naturally occurring bacteria can be removed. These bacteria, P. Acnes, are the ones responsible for the acne and have been found to increase their resistance to antibiotics with time. Sometimes, due to hormonal changes or other reasons, the body begins to produce more male sex hormones. This causes the sebaceous glands to produce more oil which can lead to blockage of the pores. Combined with dirt, dust and dead skin cells, this oil can seal the pores from outside and cause the bacteria to infect the region.

Dermatologists and other skin specialists can analyze the condition of the acne and prescribe treatment accordingly. For instance, acne that has been caused by puberty and hormone changes is usually dealt with by the use of a cream. This cream or ointment is called Benzoyl Peroxide and acts on the acne to remove the infection. Mostly preferred due to its low side effects, this ointment is very effective for acne. A slight reddening of the skin and peeling will be experienced but it will be short lived.

Antibiotics, which are the favorite form of treatment for many doctors, are only prescribed if the acne condition is particularly severe. This is because the P. Acnes bacteria have begun to be immune to antibiotics that are used frequently. Therefore, they usually try to keep the use of antibiotics to the minimum. Women who have the acne problem due to issues like menstrual problems or PCO will need to consult their doctors for a treatment that will aim to root out the main cause.

It is widely accepted that ot is better to prevent the issue form occurring than to let it happen and then lose sleep over a treatment. The causes listed above make it extremely clear that in most cases acne can be prevented. Whether male or female, using acne skin products to clean, tone and moisturize your skin should be a part of your daily routine.

The Many Solutions To Acne

August 30th, 2010

Choosing the right acne product is a problem for many people. With the large number of products out there, the solution seems to be even more complicated than the problem itself. The proper person to guide you in this matter is a dermatologist. He will be able to look at the severity of the acne and prescribe accordingly. Understanding how these products work is not hard as it is quite a simple idea.

For a good understanding of these products and the work they do, it is important to know why acne is caused. Many elements have been cited behind the appearance of acne. One of the most common is the period of puberty. The human body begins to change internally and externally due to the change in hormones. Androgens, the male sex hormones, are produced in both genders and result in the production of oil from the follicles. The pores of the skin contain bacteria which is needed for the protection of the pores. However, when these come in contact with the excess oil they cause infections in the pores and appear as pimples, zits etc. There are many people, usually women, who seem to continue having acne even after the age of thirty. The common reason for this is an health problem like ovarian cysts, imbalanced hormones etc.

People with acne problems must know that they usually appear only on the face, neck, back and chest. This is because the hair producing pores in these areas are in abundance. Places like the palms, feet and lips do not have pimples because they have no pores. The blocking of these pores is another reason for acne. The pores of the skin contain oil which is called sebum. This oil collects the dirt and bacteria from the surroundings and traps it inside the pores along with dead skin. If left unclean, the pores can get blocked and turn into blackheads which later transform into pimples.

Stress, tension and diet have been found to be another increasing trend causing acne. Individually, many people who have experienced the sudden onslaught of acne may have discovered this happens during periods of stress. It is not definite whether this happens due to changes in the body or due to behavior. For instance, some people overeat and stuff themselves with oily food which cause acne. Also, the stress can increase hormone production or trigger an adverse reaction thus causing acne to break out.

Acne products usually deal with each of these causes separately. Acne treatment will vary from person to person depending on the cause. Some people with mild acne problems may get off easily by buying some of the cleansing products available in order to cleanse the skin thoroughly. This will ensure that the pores are cleaned every day and all residue oil, bacteria and dirt is removed to prevent any pore blockage. For others, however, who have more severe problems, dermatologists may prescribe antibiotics to be applied or taken orally. This will help prevent the infection form spreading and combat the infection causing bacteria itself.

For women who have hormonal imbalances or other issues, an acne product will not really work. These situations call for an extensive treatment of the underlying problem in order to rid the body of its manifestations. How an Acne Product Works

Acne Truths

May 21st, 2010

We believe that acne is caused by body oils and dead skin blocking the skin’s pores. So, a lot of the things you may have come to believe about what causes acne is not factual.

To begin with, that means that consuming greasy foods like pizza, bacon, French fries or potatoes chips will not affect your skin problems either way. Neither will eating chocolate or drinking any kind of carbonated soda pop. Wearing make-up is also not likely going to mess with your skin, particularly if the make-up is the oil-free.

If your mom and/or dad had acne as teens, you very likely will also. But, for most people, by the time they begin to ease into their twenties, the problem has already begun to go away. There are a few things that you can do to reduce an acne outbreak. Be sure to wash your face with warm water and a mild soap once in the morning and also at night before going to bed. Don’t use a facecloth, as it could be too tough on your face and aggravate the already tender skin – use your hands instead.

Anything that you put on your face, including your makeup, sunscreen, or moisturizer should be oil free. Be sure to always remove all of your makeup prior to going to bed. When you exert yourself in any way and you are sweating as a result, make sure your wash your face.

Keep your hair away from you face. Your hair has its own oils and you don’t want them getting onto your face. Make sure you clean your hair on a regular basis to avoid the oils aggravating your skin.

If you use any hair care items like sprays or gels to keep your hair in place, do your best to keep these off your face. This is because they can also block your pores. If you must wear caps or hats, be aware that they don’t encourage acne at the hairline.

Another very important item to keep in mind is not to touch your face excessively. Touching transfers the dirt and oils from your hands to your face. Equally important is to keep from picking, touching, popping or squeezing the pimples which can cause them to get much worse.

You may find many different acne medicines at your local drug store. There are many to choose from and you might find that what works for your best friend might not do anything for you. The best have benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid in them. This will help to dry out the skin and shrink the offending pimples. Make sure you follow the directions carefully. Don’t overuse the products or you may damage your skin.

If you can’t find anything that works for you over-the-counter, arrange to visit your dermatologist who will be able to prescribe something stronger.

To find out how to get rid of acne, visit Your Skin Care Source. You will learn how to be acne free.
